A Right to Know: Giving People Power is all about you.

The Royal Gazette can only achieve the aims of this campaign if you give us your support — and tell us and Government that you want an open regime.

We want to know what you think of our three goals:

• to get public access to information legislation passed in parliament

• to get publicly funded bodies opened up to the people who pay for them

• to get Government and other publicly funded bodies to answer questions about their business.

We want to hear your views on transparency and how best you think elected politicians can be held to account. We also want to know what information you would like to be able to access — what would be helpful, perhaps, or even life-changing.

Maybe you've already tried to get some official information but been thwarted or found the process too time-consuming or difficult. Tell us your stories, share your experiences and we will press for change on your behalf.

We want to help you obtain a fundamental right which millions of people in democratic countries around the world already enjoy — and we believe that together we can achieve this.
