Due to a low blood supply, the Bermuda Hospitals Board and the Bermuda Red Cross Blood Donor Centre are making an urgent call for donors, especially people with O positive or O negative blood, writes Lindsay Kelly.

Members of the public are urged to phone the Blood Donor Centre at 236-5067 to make an appointment or to come to the Donor Centre today between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. All blood types are encouraged to donate.

The Donor Centre is located on the First Floor at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
