Bermuda has suffered its third road death of the year after Police said a 38-year-old man seriously injured in a crash on Saturday died today.

Moses Jacobs, of Pembroke, died as a result of injuries received in a collision at 5.40 a.m., on Middle Road, in Southampton, near Jewels Bay.

He was taken to King Edward VII Hospital, but he was pronounced dead this afternoon.

A Police spokesman said: “The Bermuda Police Service would like to express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and this is the third road traffic fatality for 2009.”
