Breaking News: Survey launched to help the blind

A national survey was today launched to find out the needs of the blind and visually impaired.The project, carried out by the National Office for Seniors and Physically Challenged, the Department of Statistics and Bermuda Society for the Blind, will help Government plan future services and programmes.It was announced in a press conference by Culture and Social Rehabilitation Minister Dale Butler, who wore a blindfold himself for two hours this morning to discover for himself the difficulties faced by blind people.
