Kenneth Bascomehas been elected as the new Mayor of St. George.Mr. Bascome, who was Deputy Mayor before this month’s Corporation of St. George election won with 180 votes. His rival was E. Michael Jones, a former Mayor of the town, who polled 115 votes. There were five spoilt ballot papers. See tomorrow’s Royal Gazette for the full story.
