Revolution beat Bermuda 3-0

Revolution forward Clint Dempsey scored a pair of goals after newcomer Tony Lochhead opened the scoring as the New England Revolution defeated the Bermuda Men's National Team by a score of 3-0 at the National Sports Centre stadium in Hamilton on Saturday night.

Lochhead, who started for New England on the left side of midfield in their 4-4-2 formation, opened the scoring just after the half hour mark by converting a goal-mouth scramble following a Revolution corner kick.

Minutes later, Dempsey volleyed a cross from Pat Noonan into the back of the net to double the New England advantage. Noonan played in the midfield as opposed to his normal forward spot due to the absence of Steve Ralston, who has yet to sign a new contract with the league.

After the break, Dempsey completed the scoring by finishing a pass from midfielder Andy Dorman to supply the final margin of victory.

The Revolution next play on Wednesday at the National Sports Centre on when they face Costa Rican powerhouse LD Alajuelense in the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions Cup series.
