Ed Joyce scored a century as Ireland set Bermuda a target of 316 in the opening match in Group A of the ICC Trophy at Stormont on Friday, the BBC reported today.

Joyce scored 103 and Eoin Morgan 93 as the Irish accumulated a total of 315-8 off their 50 overs.

Bermuda had Adrian Birrell's side on the back foot at 62-3 before Joyce and Morgan put on a fourth wicket partnership of 170.

Janeiro Tucker, Delyone Borden and Lionel Cann each took two wickets for the Bermudians.
