Rebecca Sharpe picked up Bermuda's second medal of the Carifta swimming championships in Curacao, with a bronze in the 100 metres backstroke.

The 13-year-old, one of the Island's brightest prospects, had already swum to a silver in the girls' 13-14 50 metres backstroke on Thursday.

Competing for the first time in the Carifta event, Bermuda, with 49 points, are second-bottom in the team standings above Virgin Islands with one day of competition left.
