Goater eyes City landmark

Shaun Goater will reach another milestone this evening if he takes to the pitch when Manchester City take on Spurs in the English Premiership.

For the Bermudian striker will make his 200th appearance for the Blues since joining the club in 1998 from Bristol City.

The match will be shown live on cable TV in Bermuda (Ch.53, 4 p.m.) and will see City look to continue their unbeaten run in the top flight. Kevin Keegan's men have taken seven points from their last three games - two victories and a draw - and will be looking to gain further ground on the likes of Spurs who are in seventh and are five points clear of 12th placed City.

Kyle Lightbourne came close with a 20 yard shot on Saturday but he and Macclesfield had to make do with a point in a goalless draw at Darlington in Division Three on Saturday.
