Kyle Lightbourne is due back in training this week after recovering from an ankle injury which has seen him sidelined since October 13.

However, the first-choice striker may find there is no straight route back into the starting line-up at Macclesfield after the emergence of youngster Rickie Lambert.

Lambert has impressed in the Bermudian's absence, scoring seven times in the last five games, and will be hoping he has done enough to retain his place.

Lambert is clear favourite to start against Swansea in the FA Cup on Saturday and another strong performance will make it tough for the popular Lightbourne who is just four months into a two-year deal at the Third Division club.
