Sailor Malcolm Smith will be aiming to add to his success at the Pan Am Games earlier this year when the Sunfish World Championships begin tomorrow in St. Maarten.

Competition should be very stiff with the entry of no less than four previous World Champions, Smith, silver medallist in the Dominican Republic in August, Stephen Smeulders from Curacao, now resident in the United States, Cor van Aanholt, who now lives in Curcacao and was a European Laser champion and Donny Martinborough from the Bahamas.

Pan Am bronze medallist, Raul Aguayro of the Dominican Republic, is also there.

Racing concludes next Saturday.
