Twin ambitions

Hamilton will be brimming with top triathletes tomorrow morning competing for the prestigious Bank of Bermuda prize ? with Naude brothers Riaan and Evan once again expected to be in the thick of the action.

The South African twins, never far away from the front of fields in triathlon or road running events, will not only be conducting their own sibling tussle but will also have to deal with the threat of the cycling specialists.

Former pro racer and Commonwealth Games competitor Kris Hedges is likely to be a major threat in the Island?s top triathlon event and with last year?s winner Tyler Butterfield away preparing for the cycling world championships, there is everything to swim, bike and run for.

Kent Richardson will be another challenging for top honours in the event that begins at 9.30 a.m. at Albuoy?s Point.

Among the females, Karen Smith is expected to dominate as she did last year although relative newcomer Joanna Shillington will also be a contender this time around.
