Douglas finishes sixth

Bermudian Troy Douglas finished sixth in the men's 200 metres at the IAAF Grand Prix meet in London yesterday.

Douglas, who competes for the Netherlands, clocked 20.82 seconds at Crystal Palace. American Darvis Patton won the half-lap sprint in 20.25 seconds while his compatriot, Ramon Clay, was second in 20.34. Englishman Christian Malcolm gave home fans something to cheer about, taking third place in 20.43 seconds.

Douglas is currently ranked 22nd in the world in the 200 metres.
