Veteran West Indies Test fast bowler Courtney Walsh is understood to be set to make an appearance in Bermuda next month, but local batsmen have no reason to fear his presence.

The tall Jamaican, who only last March became the first player to collect 500 Test wickets, will reportedly be here to attend a banquet in his honour put on by the West Indies Association.

While here the player, who remains active, will participate in a match involving members of the association and may take part in a few clinics for youngsters.
