Top local club golfer Dwayne Pearman recently returned from the US East Coast, having competed successfully in two of the region's leading tournaments.

The Ocean View pro, who is sponsored by local businessman David Ezekiel, fired rounds of 71 and 67 to take seventh place overall in the 36-hole New Hampshire Open.

He then teed it up at the 54-hole Bangor Open in Maine, shooting rounds of 71-72-72, which earned him a top 25 finish. His exact placing wasn't known.

Pearman is now continuing his build-up to the World Cup qualifying event in Mexico next month when he's expected to team up with Bermuda touring pro Michael Sims.
