Smith first in Niagara
Triathletes Karen Smith, Kent Richardson and Tyler Butterfield were all in action over the weekend as they continued preparation for the Commonwealth Games.
The trio are set to compete next week and were in Canada, the US and Germany respectively.
Smith competed in the Niagara Triathlon and finished in 1:25.43 in the 700 metre swim, 25 kilometre bike and 7 kilometre run event.
She was the first woman to cross the line and in addition was 14th overall in a field of 385 men and women.
Richardson was in Cleveland where he finished his event in 2:10.04 and was first in his age group and eighth overall.
Butterfield's race was over before it started in Hanover as his bike had not arrived from Canada in time for him to take it to the event.
As a result he could only compete in the swim, where he finished in the middle of the pack in 19.10.
