Local anglers Danny Fox and Bobby Rego returned from Florida this week after placing third at the 15th Annual Key West Light Tackle Tournament.

The pair had been leading the team event after the first day of the competition.

Next week, the two Bermudians along with American Buddy Sowers will be competing in the Rolex/IGFA Offshore Championship in Cabo San Lucas.

Often referred to as the "Olympics of Sport Fishing", the prestigious event will feature many of the world's leading anglers.

Fox, Rego and Sower received their invitation after winning last year's Bermuda International Light Tackle Tournament.
