A new trophy in memory of former national team footballer Frankie Brewster, who died suddenly late last year, will be added to the awards for this Saturday?s annual Pro Shop junior races.

Brewster was the owner of the Pro Shop and had supported the annual races for over 20 years.

According to race director David Doyle, the new award will be ?a special tribute to mark the respect and admiration for Mr. Brewster felt by all those involved with the Pro Shop Junior Races over the years.?

The Frankie Brewster Memorial Cup will be awarded to one athlete in one of the age group races who in the sole opinion of the race director produces the most outstanding performance on the day.

Entries for the races close tomorrow at 5 p.m. Forms can be picked up and dropped off at the Pro Shop.
