Bermuda Football Association's technical committee have agreed on a recommendation for the new post of Director of Youth Development.

Revealing this yesterday, head of the committee Robert Calderon said he would submit this person's name to the BFA executive for ratification at a meeting later this month.

"If all goes well we should be able to announce the name of the successful applicant to the public by the end of March," he said, hinting broadly that their choice was one of the two Bermudians who applied for the job.

Though only three candidates were vying for the post, Calderon had said earlier that the BFA were impressed with the quality of their respective professional backgrounds and that the association were confident one of these individuals could fill the post adequately.
