Three apply for BFA post
Bermuda Football Association (BFA) are "pleased" with the quality of the three candidates - two locals and one American - who have applied for their recently-advertised post of Director of Youth Development.
"I think the people who have applied meet our criteria. When I look at what we requested and their resums - they are a match.
"The interview process would determine if, in terms of personality and leadership skills, they are what we are looking for," said the BFA's second vice-president Robert Calderon yesterday.
Expressing confidence that one of the local applicants "should be able to fit the bill", the official disclosed that the BFA would be interviewing the two Bermudians tomorrow. If one of them was chosen, the association should be ready to introduce the new youth director to the public in early March, he added.
"However, if we have to go overseas, then we would need more time, pending the immigration process."
Though not giving the applicants' names, Calderon described the two locals as being "fairly well known".
