Goater looks to get back on track

Shaun Goater will renew his partnership with Darren Huckerby on Sunday when Manchester City go for FA Cup glory.

With Paulo Wanchope playing for Costa Rica in the Gold Cup the Bermudian (left) will be the focus of attention when City take on Ipswich at Portman Road, a match which will be shown live in Bermuda at 3 p.m. via pay per view.

Goater has been having a lean spell of late, but Ipswich always seem to bring out the best in him and the added incentive of a place in the fifth round should spur him on.

Kyle Lightbourne, meanwhile, will be looking to carry on from where he left off in midweek.

The Island striker scored a 40-yard cracker for Macclesfield Town against Shrewsbury in the Third Division and he will be aiming to add to his tally today against Kidderminster Harriers.

The big frontman has only recently returned from injury and his performance this week brought praise not only from his manager but also from teammates.

Fellow attacker, John Askey said: "It was a great goal by Kyle. It was probably the best game he's had since he came here.

"He was looking a lot stronger. He looked fit and it was a great goal. He had great vision and it will have given him a great boost.

"He knows himself that he's just getting back to fitness and when he can get fully fit then he's going to be a real handful in this League."
