Cocaine accused appear in court

Magistrates' Court saw two foreign nationals appear for cocaine importation and possession charges on Monday.
Jamaican national Hopeton Goerge Brown, 37, was stopped by Customs officials at Bermuda International Airport under suspicion of the Misuse of Drugs Act on December 18.
He is charged with possession and importation of cocaine.
Brown, who was not required to enter a plea as it will be tried in Supreme Court, was remanded in custody until, January 7.
Meanwhile, Dutch national Eddy Franklyn Filiciana, 43, was arrested last Thursday on suspicion of importing and possessing cocaine. Filiciana was remanded in custody until January 7.
