Caribbean website boost for hotels

Tourists hoping to come to Bermuda can now book online after the Caribbean Hotel Association (CHA) announced all member hotels will be included on its website.

"This will help drive much more business in the Caribbean in 2003," said CHA chairman Ralph Taylor.

Expedia will provide the booking engine which will take potential hotel guests to the www.gocaribbean.com website.

CHA members who currently use Expedia are automatically on the system, but with the click of mouse others can join up.

Members will also be able to benefit from telesales through the toll-free service 1-888-CARIBBEAN.

Bermuda is a member of the CHA along with Antigua, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Vincent, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos, and the United States Virgin Islands.
