A Smith?s man was charged in Magistrates? Court yesterday with trying to rob a tourist and a guest worker with a machete in Hamilton last Saturday.

Shuan Burrows, 23, of Hermitage Close has been remanded in custody until December 8 when he will reappear for mention but, because he will be tried in Supreme Court, he was not required to enter a plea.
