Dill charged with killing Goring

Suspect Kofi Dill was charged with manslaughter on Monday in the death of Frederick John Goring.
A man was charged in Magistrates' Court on Monday with the manslaughter of Frederick John Goring.Kofi Omar Dill, 23, of Eastgate Lane, Pembroke, was not required to enter a plea as the charge is indictable.It was alleged that between November 11 and November 14 he unlawfully killed Mr. Goring.

Kofi Omar Dill, 23, of Eastgate Lane, Pembroke, was not required to enter a plea as the charge is indictable.

It was alleged that between November 11 and November 14 he unlawfully killed Mr. Goring.

Mr. Goring was found on November 11 on the corner of Orchard Grove and Glebe Road .and it was assumed that he was the victim of a road traffic accident.

He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where doctors discovered that he had been physically assaulted.

On November 14, Mr. Goring died after spending two-and-a-half days on a life support machine in the intensive care unit of the hospital.

After hearing the arguments of Crown counsel Anthony Blackman and defence lawyer Larry Scott, Acting Senior Magistrate Carlisle Greaves, decided to remand Dill in custody until November 27 for mention.
