Bad drivers beware - although you may not be able to see them, Police Officers are watching to see if you attempt to speed or sneak past a red light.

According to a ZBM news report last night Police say 320 people had been ticketed this week for a range of driving offences. Tickets went to 170 people for speeding, 70 for disobeying traffic laws and traffic signs, 51 for driving without due care and attention and 29 for driving without reasonable consideration.

Police are also on the lookout for unlicensed and uninsured vehicles - with an officer stating on the news that there was a "special plan in place" for people who attempt to flout the law.
