Two men with their faces covered and wearing helmets robbed a liquor store yesterday afternoon.

Police responded to a call at the Burrows Lightbourn Liquor Store on Harbour Road at 3 p.m. yesterday after the two men, brandishing a machete, demanded money.

The men were able to escape taking with them an undisclosed amount of cash and the Police are appealing for witnesses.

In particular, the Police are asking to speak to a man that was seen talking to the two just before they walked into the store.
