Impaired drivers taken off road
Three residents were banned from driving all vehicles for 12 months and fined $1,000 after they pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court yesterday to driving while impaired.
Juvenal Jorge Madeiros, 33 of Ewing Street, Pembroke, was pulled over on Somerset Road on September 19.
A 16-year-old student was banned from driving after having a licence for less than a year.
Earl Ingemann, of Beacon Hill, Sandys, went through a Police radar trap on Kindley Field Road on September 30. When he was stopped at Mullet Bay Road, St. George's, Police noticed his breath smelled of intoxicants, his eyes were glazed and he was unsteady on his feet. Ingemann was also fined $400 for perverting the course of justice by providing false details to Police.
Kewiel Alfred Ingham, 33, of Rocklands Crescent, Warwick, was caught driving drunk in an unlicensed car with no insurance on September 11.
