New Jersey man faces heroin charges

A New Jersey man appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday on six counts of drug importation with intent to supply.
Corey Allen Ewings, 20, was not required to plead to six counts of importing diamorphine (heroin), cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply all three of the drugs on September 12.
The charges are indictable and Ewings will not be required to plead until he appears in Supreme Court.
Ewings, from Newark, was remanded in custody until September 24 for mention.
