Three potentially fiery public meetings where the Bermuda Hospitals Board was to defend its plans to build a hospital on Botanical Gardens land have been postponed because of Hurricane Florence.
The meetings will now be held in the first floor conference room at KEMH on the following dates:
Thursday 21 September 2006 at 6.30 p.m.
Friday 22 September 2006 at 5.30 p.m.
Saturday 23 September 2006 at 10 a.m.
Hospitals Deputy CEO Venetta Symonds said: "We felt it best to let people recover fully from Hurricane Florence before holding our community meetings.
"We look forward to welcoming people next week to talk about our next steps towards building a new acute care hospital."
