Keith and Paula Frizzell chose Barcelona ahead of Bermuda for their honeymoon two weeks ago.

But the newlyweds saw the Island when their flight home from Barcelona to Atlanta was diverted to Bermuda on Tuesday.

Yesterday, before catching his delayed Delta flight, Mr. Frizzell said: "This was one spot we were thinking of coming to for honeymoon, but we went for Barcelona.

"We've had the best of both worlds in a sense, without taking anything away from the tragedy. The Fairmont Southampton Princess put us in the honeymoon suite for the first night, so we've been treated very well."

Mr. Frizzell was full of praise for the hotel, the airlines and people for how they handled the emergency and was thankful to have found a place of safety after the attacks.

"I'd rather be sitting here than sitting in New York City. It's been a beautiful place and I'm glad to be safe and sound in Bermuda."
