The Progressive Labour Party is inviting its members to its weekly caucus meeting tonight. ?It is an extended caucus meeting,? said party spokesman Scott Simmons.

Executives, branch heads and regular party members are asked to attend the meeting at 6.30 p.m. at Alaska Hall.

?We expect to discuss the issues of the day and it is safe to say the issues that are at fore will be discussed,? he said.

Mr. Simmons said that the party?s executive and central committee had been at recess and the meeting will be an ?opportunity for the caucus to bring everybody up to date.

?I would say that one can expect for it to be quite spirited and we expect there will be a lot of questions and we don?t expect that it will be a walk in the park for the members of caucus.?

Premier Alex Scott is currently off the Island on vacation. The meeting will be presided over by Deputy Party Leader Ewart Brown.
