Police investigating the death of a 31-year-old man who died in a mysterious road traffic accident last weekend, are urgently appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Scott Davidson, a Scottish expatriate, was found lying dead near his cycle on North Shore Road in Devonshire last Saturday, under suspicious circumstances.

Police specifically are looking to talk to the drivers of a grey sedan and a white auxiliary cycle, that officers say were in the vicinity of the accident scene around 3 a.m.

Police also said that from the evidence of the scene it was apparent that someone tried clearing away the debris.

They noted that for purposes of completing the investigation, they are asking this person to contact P.c. Frankie Foggo of the Traffic Enforcement Unit.

In addition, they are appealing to speak with the young man who Police first encountered at the scene of the accident.

Mr. Davidson's death marks the seventh road fatality this year on Bermuda's roads.
