A 78-year-old cruise ship passenger who became partially paralysed on her right side after taking sea sickness medicine was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital yesterday morning.

A Harbour Radio spokesman said the Zenith was met by a pilot boat at Five Fathom Hole and the passenger was taken off and met by ambulance at Ordnance Island.

The ships' local agent Meyer Travel could not supply any more information on the passenger yesterday but a spokesman said it was believed that she was wearing too many sea sickness patches.
