Lifeguard coverage at Turtle Beach and Clearwater Beach will end from today.

The Department of Parks said the decision comes as staff return to school as the summer ends.

However, lifeguards continue to service John Smith?s Bay and Horseshoe Bay from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily.
