In an article which appeared in The Royal Gazette on June 28, "Four deny evading taxes", we stated in the first sentence that the owner of the Phoenix Stores and the BGA Group was charged with not paying more than $670,000 in taxes allegedly owed by his separate betting business.

It has been brought to our attention that the article may have been read as suggesting that Mr. Wendall Brown was personally charged with an offence.

We wish to make it clear, as was stated in the remainder of the article, that it was five companies and not any individuals who were charged with non-payment of taxes.
