Software helps retain student information
Bermuda College?s Student Services and Counselling and Career Centre has gone high-tech thanks to software which will help counsellors keep more efficient records.
The Bermuda College recently purchased Athena Client Management Software as a management tool and plans are already underway to have it installed by autumn.
Dean of Students Sheridan Talbot said the College was making the investment in the software to maximise resources and improve delivery of services.
?We were impressed with the demonstration of the software and look forward to using it to optimise our services,? she said.
The software is basically a more efficient way of keeping student information.
The case management software fully integrates student scheduling, evaluations and includes a session note recording-program which delivers a confidential, comprehensive reporting function.
Once installed, counsellors will be able to know exactly which students have been seen, what their evaluations were and when their next appointment are scheduled for ? at the touch of a button. This is Athena Software?s first installation of the product outside of North America.
