Government marked the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Caribbean Community with the release of two 35 cent stamps and a new First Day Cover.

The Bermuda Philatelic Bureau released the stamps, depicting scenes from Robert Bassett's painting of a Cup Match cricket match '100 Up!' and carrying the colours of both the St. George's and Somerset teams, on July 4.

The Caribbean Community and Common Market was formed on August 1, 1973 by the Treaty of Chaguaramas, which brought an end to the Caribbean Free Trade Association.

First Day Covers can be purchased for $2.50 while stamp sets can be bought for 70 cents from the Bermuda Philatelic Bureau in Hamilton or any of the Island's post offices.
