The United Bermuda Party's latest candidate for the July 24 election said she would speak up for St. David's if she was voted in by the people of District Three.

St. David's Islander Suzanne Roberts-Holshouser, right, who works as the weather announcer for the Bermuda Broadcasting Corporation, said she would speak up for parochial issues which have so far failed to be addressed by Government.

“I will make sure that St. David's has an effective voice in Parliament,” she said and pointed out that roads overgrown with poison ivy and the lack of access for emergency vehicles would be at the top of the list of things to deal with should she be elected.
