Senate business is expected to be finished before noon today with only one item on the order paper likely to go ahead.

Set to go forward today is The Professional Surveyors Registration Amendment Act 2004 which would see surveyors have an official stamp for their documents.

Take note motions moved by Sen. Raymond Tannock on Government's E-Business Green Paper and Sen. Kim Swan on the Kurron summary report are both likely to be carried over.

Senate President said he expected it would be an early day unless Senators gave lengthy speeches on the motion to adjourn.

The news was a great disappointment to Sen. Kim Swan who has tabled a take note motion on the Kurron summary report on Bermuda's Hospitals.

He spoke with yesterday and said while the report did not contain the most current data on the hospitals, it would still be relevant.

"I am very disappointed that the Minister is not prepared to release the full report and I am set to speak with her," he said.

He said he had spoken with Junior Minister for Health Walter Roban who had conveyed the minister's decision.

Asked if he would be withdrawing his motion Sen. Swan said no and explained that his motion will be debated eventually.

His motion relates to only a pr?cis of the full report as that is all that has been presented in the House of Assembly.
