Carreras takes centre stage at the Fairmont Southampton Hotel tonight.The sold out concert was moved from the original venue at the Maritime Museum brig yard in Dockyard, to the Mid-Ocean Amphitheatre at the Fairmont Southampton Hotel.Mr. Carreras flew into the Island on Wednesday evening and was said to be resting before the concert. He arrives fresh from an engagement at Hampton Court Palace in London, England on Tuesday.

The sold out concert was moved from the original venue at the Maritime Museum brig yard in Dockyard, to the Mid-Ocean Amphitheatre at the Fairmont Southampton Hotel.
Mr. Carreras flew into the Island on Wednesday evening and was said to be resting before the concert. He arrives fresh from an engagement at Hampton Court Palace in London, England on Tuesday.
Two young Bermudian opera singers, Elca Maranzana and Kion Simmons, will be opening the show for Mr. Carreras this evening.
The concert, which begins at 8 p.m. and 6.30 for VIP guests, is sold out.
