Police still investigating bomb threat
Police are still investigating a bomb scare which caused the Island?s largest secondary school to be evacuated.
A Police bomb disposal team was called to the school on April 27 after a mystery call from within CedarBridge Academy was received. It turned out there was no device present.
The call was traced to within the school and Police spokesman Robin Simmons said last week that the culprit was still being sought.
?Police are still following up leads and information in relation to that,? he said. ?However, no suspects have been revealed so far.?
He said the force was still appealing for information and that anyone who could help the inquiry should call 295-0011.
Mr. Simmons said a Police investigation involving another incident at CedarBridge ? when a male student was found with a pellet gun ? was also ongoing.
