Rescue workers had to use the `jaws of life' to pull a man from his car after a car collision early yesterday morning.
It took about 15 minutes for Fire Service personnel to free the 18-year old man, using high-powered Holmatro hydraulic rescue tools. He was rushed to the hospital, and is understood to have suffered a broken leg in the accident.
The accident took place at around 3.15 a.m. at the junction of Manse and Harbour Roads in Warwick. The driver of the second car was uninjured and able to drive away, however the 18-year old's white Nissan Sunny was written off and had to be towed away.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
