Pop and sizzle took on a new meaning yesterday with the introduction of ?PASAs? ? ?pop and sizzle ambassadors?, four Bermudians armed with hot pink mopeds who will be jazzing around the Island talking to tourists.

Tourism and Transport Minister Ewart Brown debuted the idea at yesterday?s first-quarter media luncheon at the Wyndham Resort Hotel , explaining that the Department of Tourism has formed an alliance with entertainment website Bermynet.com, where photos of tourists who speak with PASAs will be posted.

In what sounds like a fantastic summer job for students, PASAs will be ?spreading the love? ? stopping to chat with tourists and give out information such as directions, or answer any other questions visitors may have.

They will also be on the look-out for the noticeable Pop-By flags which will be hitting the Island, Horseshoe Bay in particular, in the summer.
