More than 90 percent of respondents to an online poll on The Royal Gazette's website are opposed to Bermuda becoming an associate member of the Caribbean Community (Caricom).

A record 895 users responded to the unscientific poll on www.theroyalgazette.com, which started last Saturday and ended yesterday, with 92.1 of respondents replying no to the question "Should Bermuda become an associate member of Caricom?".

Just 7.9 percent of respondents said yes.

The next poll on www.theroyalgazette.com will begin at lunchtime today.
