Cedarbridge Principal Kalmar Richards has confirmed allegations about students having sex in toilets.

She said: "I can confirm that there was an incident involving several students some weeks ago in one of our bathrooms. The matter was investigated as soon as it came to light and the students involved have received appropriate consequences.

"As a community it is our responsibility to discourage and modify inappropriate behaviour and to model and guide our young people towards good behaviour and to help them make better choices."
