CedarBridge stabbing suspect held at St. Brendan's hospital

•The teenage boy suspected of stabbing the CedarBridge Academy security guard remains in hospital at St. Brendan's, The Royal Gazette understands.

Charges have yet to be laid in relation to the knife assault at the Government senior school last week which saw guard Kariim Wales stabbed in the neck, chin and back.

The suspect in the stabbing is a 17-year-old former CedarBridge student who was expelled from the school.

He has been in hospital since he was taken into custody last Wednesday following the stabbing.

The suspect was chased down by two maintenance workers at the school after the attack on Mr. Wales.
