Two teenage girls pleaded guilty to stabbing a young woman in Supreme Court yesterday.

Shauntiah Rawlins, 17, of Loyal Hill, Devonshire, and Latroy Gaynelle Santucci, 18, of Tea Room Hill, Warwick, both pleaded guilty to unlawfully causing grievous bodily harm to Deanna Trott in December of 2001.

The pair pleaded not guilty to being in possession of an offensive weapon - a knife - but the charge was kept on file.

Presentence reports were ordered for both girls before they were released on $5,000 bail with one surety.

The case was adjourned until the May 1 arraignments session.
