RG poll backs re-registration

More than 70 percent of respondents to a Royal Gazette online poll believe there should be a re-registration of voters.

The unscientific poll, which began last Friday and ended yesterday, saw 513 people respond to the question: "Should there be a re-registration of voters before the next General Election?"

Of that number, 73.5 percent said "yes", 20.3 percent said "no" and 6.2 percent said they did not know.
