A 48-year-old lawyer who had previously pleaded not guilty to indecent exposure, prowling and masturbating in a public place, had his trial adjourned because of a conflict of interest between himself and Magistrate Tyrone Chin.

Mr. Chin said yesterday he and the lawyer, who cannot be named for legal reasons, "had been colleagues".

The lawyer is charged with prowling at Panorama, a residential complex, and indecent exposure on Astwood Road, Paget, on November 26 of last year.

The case will be heard again in Magistrates' Court when Magistrate William Francis returns on April 26.
